The location, direction and acting are all excellent, especially the personality and acting of Aryan Krishna, who came out of the theater playing the role of Ronnie, and retired Captain Amarjit Singh Sangwan, who have brought alive the character of the traditional leader MRF (Maniram Fagedia). On the other hand, in the main female lead, Shambhi Singh in the role of Harleen and Fatima Bano in the role of grandmother have done a wonderful job. Along with actors Sudhanshu Pandey, Vikas Srivastava, Pratik Pallav has played the negative role of Rajveer very well. The acting of lead actor Ashutosh Pranjpe (Nitin) is fine.
In a nutshell, the Sunil Sihag written-directed webseries A Day Turns Dark begins with the unbreakable friendship of three friends Nitin, Roni and Ashish from school and college life and their enmity with Rajveer, Nitin and Harleen’s love. It deals with the caste conflict between the Hoodas and the Fagedis, with a story of family and career choice dilemma, and ends in a tragedy, which sets the story for the next part.
All the actors have played their characters in a very serious manner. Due to the low budget in the film, there are some technical shortcomings related to editing, which the general audience can ignore, but it is not possible to ignore as a film critic. With those improvements, its next version can be made even better. Overall, this web series is an exciting and emotional experience, which can be watched with the whole family.
